Welcome

I’ve always considered Southport my home & as such I am dedicated to the continued growth & sustainability of the Southport community, including the delicate coastal  environment of the Broadwater.

I take my role seriously as it enables me to be the voice of Southport residents & business community within the Bligh Government.

You’re welcome to subscribe to my regular e-Newsletter and receive, first-hand, community news and announcements. I also post information on twitter & facebook, for those of you so inclined to stay in touch via social media.

I hope you find the website interesting and informative. But most of all, I look forward to hearing from you.

Peter Lawlor

PS: You would be aware by now that the next State Election will be held on the 24th March. I am seeking to continue my representation of the people of the Southport Electorate as there is much more work to do to ensure that infrastructure and services keep pace with our rapidly growing population. Major projects due for completion during the term of the next Government include the Gold Coast University Hospital and the Rapid Transit. We must also commence the planning for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Should you have any queries regarding any issue or if you require assistance with regard to the forthcoming election, please do not hesitate to contact me.
